Fury had been alerted via his cellphone’s calendar that he had a lunch appointment with a Janet van Dyne. The businessman wasn’t quite sure who exactly she was other than her socialite reputation and fashion company. He was here to persuade her in merging with his company so they could collectively become the leaders in fashion from clothing to makeup to perfumes.

He knew he needed to do his best to persuade her, so he dressed in his finest of business suits and came to their place of meeting, a lounge with private rooms for meetings of this sort. It’s where the upper class come to relax or to talk business, he was hoping this would help him with both. Perhaps even obtain her personal number in the process.

He sat there waiting, hoping that his eye patch doesn’t scare her off.

The last few days had been…off somehow for Janet van Dyne. She couldn’t put her finger on what, but she couldn’t shake that feeling that she had something important to do that she was forgetting. Quite annoying really. Well, whatever it was it couldn’t possibly be that important if she couldn’t remember it.

Her secretary had set up a meeting for her with a business man named Nick Fury. She wasn’t sure exactly what sort of business he ran but it never hurt to network and listen to what sort of proposal he had for her and her company.

Jan’s heels clicked as she strode down the hallway and into the lounge where the meeting had been arranged and glanced around. She didn’t know what this Nick Fury looked like but taking a chance on the man with the nicest suit in the room she walked over and offered her hand.

“Pleasure to meet you, I’m Janet van Dyne.”
